ASOP collaborated with CEJS University of Light to provide our youth with exposure to an awesome horticulture experience. Special thanks to Bernard Singleton for the great work he is doing in our community.
ASOP visited a ranch and hung out with some cool horses. Our kids learned about what it takes to care for horses and even had a chance to wash and pet Lady B.
We challenged the Uwharrie Trail and it won....Hiking is therapeutic... start them while they are young. Big shout out to our Hike Commander, Joel Johnson who educated us on the wildlife, history and habitat of the Uwharrie Trail.
Big shout out to The Levine Museum of the New South for the great exhibits they have on "Know Justice, Know Peace"
and "Cottonfields to Skyscrapers"
You don't deserve anything you can't take care of was the theme on this day. The young men learned how to change the oil in a car and also the brakes. Everyone got their hands a little dirty.
